Overnight at the hotel.DAY 2: CAIROAfter breakfast, your guide will take you, in an airconditioned vehicle to the Giza Plateau to marvel at one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World. The Pyramids of Giza almost 5000 years ago, the Great Pyramid, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, Cheops, is the oldest of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau around 2600 B.C. You will also explore the rest of Giza Plateau including the Pyramid of Chephren son of King Khufu. It’s the second largest pyramid on Giza plateau, the pyramid of Menkaure , the smallest pyramid of all three. All proudly guarded by the Great Sphinx of Giza, you will also visit the valley temple . Lunch in between the visits at an authentic Egyptian good quality restaurant and then head over to Sakkara and Memphis. It contains tombs from almost every period of Egyptian history. Lunch in between the visits at an Egyptian restaurant Then you will proceed with the guide in the airconditioned vehicle to the famous bazar, Khan El Khalili. It was established in the Mameluke era and named after caravanserai, the bazar has since then become one of Cairo’s most attractions for tourists and Egyptians. It’s home to many Egyptian artisans and workshops of traditional crafts. It’s filled with unique and exotic items from spices to jewelry and souvenirs. Dinner at the hotel and overnight.DAY 11: CAIROAfter breakfast, your guide will take you, in an airconditioned vehicle, to visit the National Museum of Civilization , NMEC. It’s a large museum (490,000 square meters), it displays a collection 50,000 artefacts presenting Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to present day. It exhibits several objects intended to educate the visitor about the Egyptian Civilization across various key historical phases, starting with Predynastic and Ancient Egyptian periods and continuing across the Graeco- Roman , Coptic , Islamic and contemporary modern times. NMEC is located in the heart of Al-Fustat, the ancient Islamic capital of Egypt and surrounded by several religious complexes. Lunch during the day at an authentic Egyptian restaurant. Then you will proceed to visit Old Cairo known as Coptic Cairo which is among the most important locations visited by the Holy Family where the spiritual impact of their presence is most felt still. There you will be able to visit the Church of Abu Serga, Saint Barbra, the Suspended Church and Jewish Synagoque. The Holy Family took shelter from the Roman Governor in a cave above which in later years, the Church of Abu Serga, Saint Sergius was built. The Suspended Church, its hall is richly decorated, there is a Coptic icons, figure of the Virgin with Jesus in her arms, along with the whole area of Babylon Fort is a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for the Christians and Jews from all over the world. The inside of the Synagoque of Ben Ezra is a real architectural masterpiece. Transfer back to the hotel in an airconditioned vehicle.
