Published 1864. A rough translation of the full title of this book is \'Illustrative designs and allegories for decorative painters, engravers, lithographers etc. Designed and drawn by F. C. Klimsch Issue 1\'. Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering on the front. The boards are in good order with just a bit of wear on the edges of them. Very minimal cracking on the hinges inside. The book opens onto the title page which is quite browned The inner pages which have the multiple designs on are mostly clean and in good order but there is some slight browning on the edges which does not intrude onto the designs. There are a few small closed tears at the bottom of the title page. Page 1 has a small closed tear at the bottom and a diagonal one at the top of the page (near the inside join) - neither intrude onto the pictures. Some grubby fingermarks on the edge of pages 2 and 3. A small closed tear on the bottom of page 5 and some brown marks (possibly art material) - not on the pictures. The pages from then on are in better order apart from a small closed tear on the bottom edge of page 64 not reaching the pictures.
