An everlasting icon, Raymond Weil pays homage to the legend of music, David Bowie, closely designed in collaboration with the David Bowie Estate, bringing together instantly recognisable symbols of his career. The watch is the stylish Freelancer model, in 42mm diameter, with soft black leather strap and folding deployment clasp. Inside is a Swiss made automatic movement, featuring solely the time displayed on a seemingly simple, but thoroughly detailed black dial. The dial is textured to resemble a vinyl record with grooves running throughout, and the famous lightning bolt marker at 12, as painted on David\'s face for many performances, and appeared on the Aladdin Sane album in 1973. At 6 o\'clock is the Bowie logo in striking red, designed especially by Andy Warhol, and graced the cover of Diamond Dogs in 19974. Produced in a numbered, limited edition of 3000 pieces worldwide, each piece also features a portrait of David Bowie, taken in 1974 by famous photographer Terry O\'Neill, printed on the sapphire of the case back, and supplied with silver display box with lightning bolt, and certificate of authenticity.
