Surfing Experience Days: Surfing is a great form of exercise and has been one of the most popular water-sports in the world for many years - and it\'s not hard to see why. You can\'t beat the thrill you get from harnessing incredible and powerful natural forces - once you are surfing along your first wave crest, you\'ll be hooked. Millions surf all around the world, and learning the art of this fantastic sport is not as hard as you may think. During this half-day introduction to surfing you\'ll receive expert instruction on all aspects of surfing, including how to move through the waves, how to change direction and, the most difficult technique, how to get onto your feet. With some of the UK\'s finest surfing locations and with British Surfing Association qualified coaches, you can expect to receive the best possible instruction to ensure that you will progress as fast as possible - see just how far YOU come!Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a safety briefing covering all aspects of surfing and the dangers involved. The course will start off with you being issued a wetsuit and being introduced to the board, you will then be taught the principles of surfing on the beach with the instructor covering paddling, pop (standing up) stance and the all important timings. You will then hit the water where you will start putting the theory into practice. This half day experience is great fun as well as extremely useful for your development as a surfer. If you feel competent after the Half Day Course we highly recommend trying the Full Day Course to further your skills.
