HIGH TIDE Sea Shanties (Very rare 1969 first UK issue 6-track stereo vinyl LP on the blue & turquoise Liberty label described as one of the first progressive metal albums from the UK. What ever the case this is dirty fuzzed-up psychedelicrock of the highest order & certainly one of the heaviest of the late sixties to come from these shores. Features Tony Hill [of The Misunderstood] on detuned fuzz duties plus Simon House [later Hawkwind] on violin. The gatefold sleeve looks stu nning especially the full colour spread inside with some discoluration showing to the mostly white cover otherwise holds up superbly. The labels have only a couple of light spindle marks whilst the vinyl is super clean leaving it Near Mint
