What is Beechams All In One liquid?nBeechams All In One Liquid provides the relief you need for cold symptoms, including a chesty cough, aches and pains and a blocked nose.nEach dose contains three agents:nParacetamol to relieve your headache, shivers, aches and pains,nPhenylephrine, a decongestant to relieve your catarrh and help clear your blocked nose and sinuses,nGuaifenesin, an expectorant to relieve chesty, productive coughs.nThese three agents work together to relieve pain, loosen congestion and decrease swelling of your nose and ears.nBeechams liquid is easy to take, non drowsy, sweet tasting and suitable for most adults and children over 12.nHow to take Beechams All In One liquidnBeechams all in one liquid is for oral use only.nFor adults and children over the age of 12 - Take 20ml every 4 hours when needed. DO NOT take more than 4 doses in a 24 hour period.nDo not use Beechams All In One for more than 5 consecutive days. If you feel that you need to continue taking this medication for longer than 5 days please contact your doctor or pharmacist.nDo not exceed the recommended dose.nWarningsnDo not drink alcohol while taking Beechams All In One.nDo not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. These can be found in the patient information leaflet.nAlways read the patient information leaflet before taking any medication.nKeep all medication of sight and reach of children.nThe ingredients in Beechams all in one liquid may cause severe liver damage if taken in too high doses, too frequently.nIf you are pregnant or breastfeeding speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.nDo not use if you suffer from kidney or liver problems, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, phaeochromocytoma or glaucoma.nDo not use if you are currently taking beta blockers, tricyclic antidepressants or have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors in the last two weeks.nDo not use if you are taking any other form of paracetamol.
