This premium poplar wood core delivers the perfect balance of performance, pop, flex and strength and is the ideal foundation for the Frontiers versatile ride. Now as Jones wanted to keep this board a little bit more playful, it utilises softer flexing Bi-Ax glass structural layers. These allow the board to flex both lengthwise and torsionally a little easier and are crucial to delivering that unique, playful freeride feel. Jones then add Basalt stringers, made with 100% natural fibres which then help transfer power to the edges, improving torsional response and absorbing board chatter. To ensure the Frontier Split delivers optimum performance Jones use the high-end Karakorum K-Clips with tip and tail hooks. These adjustable tension K-clips increase the boards torsional stiffness and offer a superior connection compared to simple interlocking clips.BaseTo ensure the Frontier delivers the optimum performance, it utilises a super-fast 7000 Sintered base. Factory waxed with Wend Natural wax it provides excellent glide in all conditions.
