Now to give the Ultra Mountain Twin extra grip when blasting the piste, it utilises Jones’s Traction Tech 3.0 Sidecut. Secondly it lifts those contact points clear of the snow creating a smooth, buttery freestyle feel, and finally, it helps channel snow flow down under the board creating additional lift in the pow.ConstructionNow it’s when it comes to construction, that you’ll start to see where differences are between the Ultra Mountain Twin and the standard Mountain Twin. Heading this up is the responsive Power Core. The stiffest core in the Jones range, it is formed from a combination of durable poplar, poppy bamboo and lightweight paulownia. This gives the board its powerful foundation and is key to the Ultra Mountain Twins stunning performance. To this, Jones then add structural layers formed from responsive tri-ax glass.
