This progressive outline delivers a smooth and predictable ride. This makes it ideal for hard-charging riders who want a board that makes blasting around look smooth and effortless.Profile: Traditional CamberThe Nub\'s traditional camber profile is formed from a single convex arc between the board\'s contact points. This responsive profile powers up the whole length of the edge, ensuring predictable edge hold and rebound as pressure is exerted and expelled throughout the rider\'s turn.ConstructionWhen it comes to construction, the Nub utilises some of the most advanced materials available. Heading this up is the advanced Unitive Core. This tip-to-tail wood core features Light poplar construction with wider bands of more rigid Standard Poplar running along the edges, delivering increased control and stability at high speeds. Now to give the Nub that smooth all-terrain feel, the core is profiled with Sims\'s Twin Wave Form. This innovative design creates thick and thin zones through the length of the core increasing drive, flex, and control. To step up response, Sims uses a 3-way structural layer that combines Light Tri-Tex fibreglass at 0º, 45º, and 90º. These deliver increased pop, rebound, flex, as well as increasing torsional stiffness. To ramp up power even further, Sims add a 50mm thick carbon fibre stringer running through the centre of the core. This powers up the flex through the length giving the Nub a powerful and poppy flex while adding extra stability.Base: Premium Racing (High Molecular Sintered)Utilising industry-leading technology from ISOSPORT, this high-density, high-speed base material is chosen for its molecular weight. This delivers unrivalled speed, excellent wear resistance, and increased wax permeability.
