A modern, ultra quiet aerator for aquarium. The device is virtually inaudible. The effect was achieved by a special construction of the electromagnet as well as double walls of the enclosure. All of the vibrations are dampened by the body consisting of a few independent, accurately connected elements. They dampen not only the noise, but also the movement, thanks to which Oxypro Quiet is not only quiet, but also does not change its position due to emitted vibrations (it is a common affliction of many models of aerators). In practice the only manifestation of Oxypro Quietoperation is an illuminated LED and a stream of bubbles floating in the tank.It can be easily adjusted using a large, ergonomic knob to adapt the aerator operation intensity to the needs of a particular aquarium. Furthermore, the aerator is adapted to be used in case of extremely deep aquaria it is capable of pushing air as much as 2 m below the level of water surface!Additional advantage of Oxypro Quietis a modern look, the double, yet transparent, casing allows one to see the insides of the device including its moving membrane. What Warehouse Aquatics think... Upon opening the box you are presented with a strange see-through airpump neatly bundled with full English instructions and a non return valve. (Some air hose and perhaps an airstone wouldn\'t have gone amiss Aquael!) The unit is a reasonable size and we were dubious of it\'s claims. Plugging it in we found it made a fair buzz but when connected to airline on our test tank this buzz diminished to a very, very faint whisper. The unique double glazed casing results in an almost silent operation and the ability to see inside at the workings is also a geeky addition we love! The unit has rubber feet to prevent transmission of noise - it still vibrates and works just as well as any other air pump but with an added touch of quiet. The Green LED that lights when the unit is on is also a little funky and different - the developers obviously thought their product so quiet that an indication light was needed to show that the unit is in fact on! The pump is also reliably adjustable which makes a change to the adjustable piece of plastic in most units which doesn\'t usually work well. With this added feature we think this pump would work really well with air driven skimmers when flow control is really important. The unit itself is a bit drab with its black and grey casing - we would have liked to see some funky colours to add to the already eccentric pump but when it is hidden away under your aquarium working away quietly coloured casing isn\'t really necessary! 9.5/10 from the Wa Team Do you have any other helpful information to add?
