Today he lives with his family as a furniture designer in New Zealand and has been giving lectures on eco-design and slow-design since 2006. The inspiration for his designs, which he realizes in natural materials such as bamboo from sustainable forestry, he gets from nature and from his wealth of experience during his five-year journey, which took him and his family by sailing yacht to the Caribbean, the Pacific and New Zealand.
