Printing speed can be affected by the type of paper used. In colour 20 pages per minute are possible on 75 g/m² plain paper. In monochrome 33 pages per minute are possible on 75 g/m² plain paper. The device uses a CIS (contact image sensor) for scanning which can be done up to 1200 x 2400 DPI in either horizontal or vertical layout.
