We often get asked by customers so thought we should get it down in writing. Really the quick answer is it depends on the age of your little one – When they are newborn you don’t need a huge amount of things but it’s always better to overpack than under pack as you never know what may happen. So the basics are :- Nappies – we would recommend our Close Parent nappies, they are as easy to use as disposables with no faffing around and much much cheaper in the long run, plus it’s a more eco option so makes total sense all round! Wipes – Cheeky Wipes Genius wipes that are eco-friendly and smell amazing, will save you hundreds of pounds, save the planet and … wait for it, mean your little one probably won’t get nappy rash Baby Changing mat – these are included in all our baby changing bags, a nice padded one is great. Insulated bottle warmer – again all included, even if you are breast feeding you may need to keep water cold. Spare Clothes – Sometimes when they are tiny they can easily get through a few outfits in one day, we would recommend a onesie or two which keeps it very simple and can be rolled up into nothing in your bag. Muslin Cloth – We have some large ones (they are called swaddles) they are basically large pieces of muslin, do not ever leave the house without them! You will use them for so many things, it will be the most important thing in Baby Changing Bag. It will be used as your bib, blanket, nursing cover, sunshade, swaddle, comforter, clean item for changing nappies…. Oh the list is endless!
