Black beans, also known as turtle beans, are extremely popular in Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and the southern Unites states. With their black skin, cream-coloured flesh and subtly sweet flavour, Tropical Sun Black Beans are especially good in soups and salads, served with or in rice, or as an accompaniment to almost any meat and chicken dishes. Once opened, store in an air tight glass or plastic containing in the fridge. They will keep for 3-4 days. You can also freeze opened canned beans for 1-2 months
