This wealth of information is displayed elegantly, with no fuss and clutter, on a simple matt silver dial with baton markers and the simple Junghans logo, a beautiful simplistic design as expected from Junghans. Covering the dial is curved plexiglass, with SICRALAN hardening to protect against scratches and knocks. The movement sits inside a simple, elegant stainless-steel case, comfortably sized and curved to sit perfectly on the wrist, and is fastened on a soft, comfortable leather strap. The crown, of which can be seen at the 3 o’clock position, then can be pulled out to adjust the time. All in all, the case measures at a diameter of 40mm which complements the sleek height of just 12mm. Sat inline with the case is plexiglass which allows for both a clear view and a resistance to any potential knocks and bumps. The Strap: The beautiful brown leather strap complements the silver dial and case well, making for a stylish addition to your wrist. The strap can be easily fastened using a stainless steel buckle according to your size and taste. The Dial: The dial features a matte silver finish design. Around the edge of the dial are standard line markers which display the seconds. Sat just below the 12 o’clock index is the ever present Junghans logo. On either side of the logo is a day of the week and month display to keep you on track at all times. Also, a sub-dial seen at 6 o\'clock displays the date of the month as well as a neat day/date graphic according to the time.  The Functions: The steel hands are powered by a automatic movement, which is achieved by the natural notion of the wrist. The module in particular used is J800.3 which is known for its long life and reliability. The watch has a water resistance of 30 metres, making it suitable for light splashes. As an additional option the glass can be retrofitted with sapphire crystal which is known for its resilient and clear properties.
