Seiko Prospex Turtle Automatic Blue Dial Silver Stainless Steel Bracelet Men\'s Watch SRP773K1 RRP £399
Seiko Prospex Turtle Automatic Blue Dial Silver Stainless Steel Bracelet Men\'s Watch SRP773K1 RRP £399 The Case: Measuring at 45mm in diameter and being crafted from stainless steel this cushion style case of the Seiko Prospex Turtle SRP773K1 has earned itself the nickname, \'The Turtle\' amongst the Seiko community. The SRP773K1 is a reiteration of the original 63 series that was introduced in 1977, as successor of the 6105. It was made available in all regions of the world (except Japan), and it became a staple for professional divers, as well as for spear fishermen but also for recreational swimmers. This model retains many of the same design features as the original model, for example the sunken hardlex crystal glass which draws attention to the oceanic blue stainless steel bezel. The bezel maintains the same layout as the original through the silver increments. It also has a unreeled design on the outer edge which allows the wearer to easily make rotate the 120 unidirectional bezel. Likewise, at 4 o’clock the oversized screw-down crown is another feature that harks back to the original. In addition, on the flip side there is a stainless steel screw down case back, which has been engraved with Seiko\'s Tsunami logo. One of the most apparent differences from this model and the original is the addition of screw down lugs, this therefore provides the watch with additional support and sturdiness. The Dial: A simplistic aquatic blue dial is complete by large silver indexes and hands which allow for easy visibility at night or the depths of the ocean. Similarly, this rendition reintroduces the instantly recognisable double baton index 12 o\'clock marker. Likewise, each of the luminescent indexes are applied and slightly raised, which gives the dial a subtle depth. Sat just beneath the 12 o’clock index is the ever present Seiko logo with the Prospex logo at the 6 o’clock position. Replacing the 3 o’clock index is a minimalistic day and date window which allows you to keep up to date all month. Around the very edge of the dial is a chapter ring which incorporates the wider same colour scheme of the dial. The Bracelet: The silver bracelet of the watch is made from highly durable stainless steel, that has been finished using a brushing technique. Moreover, it comes in the style of an oyster bracelet, which is associated with the Rolex brand. It fastens using a three fold clasp. Functions: Seiko\'s exclusive 4R36 automatic movement powers this timepeice. It is a self-winding calibre with manual-winding capacity and a hacking-seconds features. This movement has an incredible 41 hour power reserve which means you can take it off your wrist for the weekend whilst you relax. It consists of 24 jewels and it beats at 21,600vph. This watch has a water resistance of 200 metres, making it suitable for diving. Key Features: 4R36 Caliber Automatic Movement Manual Wind Capacity 41 Hour Duration Stainless Steel Case Hardlex Crystal Glass LumiBrite Three Fold Clasp Secure Lock Push Button Release With Extender 200m Water Resistant Thickness: 13.4mm Diameter: 45mm Screw Down Crown Unidirectional Rotating Bezel 24 Jewels Day/Date Display Stop Second Hand Function The Family: Prospex Seiko Prospex challenges every limit, with a collection of timepieces for sports lovers and adventure seekers whether in the water, in the sky or on land. Since launching Japan’s first diver’s watch in 1965, Seiko’s innovative technology has changed global standards. Seiko are constantly striving to bring ever greater reliability and safety to both professional and recreational divers. The variety in the collection offers different movements like automatic, solar, analogue quartz, solar chronograph and radio sync solar world time chronograph watches. The Brand: Seiko Ceaseless determination to innovate in every aspect of the watchmaker’s art is what defines Seiko’s 135-year history. By embracing this ethos, Seiko has been responsible for a string of industry-leading advances in the technology of time. Notably, the creation of the world’s first quartz watch in 1969. Or equally impressive the creation of the world’s first TV watch in 1982. And even more relevant today, with our abhorrent use of non-renewable energy sources, Seiko’s Kinetic. The listed technological developments serve as evidence to illustrate the revolutionary impact which Seiko has had on the watchmaking world. They are also remarkably unique in that they manufacture every aspect of every watch in-house. If you have any questions please  click here Click here to join our  facebook  and  Instagram !
