The Case: The case is made from silver stainless steel which is finished off with a polished look. At 40mm, the case is at a standard size yet still capable of providing the dial with the protection that it deserves. It features a crown at the 3 o\'clock position which is surrounded by two buttons either side to access the watches great features, of which will be explained below. The glass used on this piece is made from sapphire crystal which is well-known for its durable characteristics. The Strap: A classic black leather strap features stitching on either side which gives the piece yet more depth. It sits at a lug width of 20mm which is complemented well by the 40mm case. A pin buckle can then be securely fastened to sit comfortably around your wrist. For all you Hamilton fans the strap reference is H600.384.110 The Dial & Functions: The dial combines an authentic 60\'s appeal with a modern exclusive H-31 calibre automatic movement. The H-31 is a powerful automatic chronograph movement featuring an extended 60-hour power reserve, making it perfect for the demands of the sportiest of models. With an H pattern design on the oscillating bridge, there’s no mistaking who made this movement. The dial is definitely and eye-catcher, which is clear as the dial too features eyes. The design of this dial is known as a \'panda dial\' due to the contrast of the white dial and the black sub dials. Also, the easy to read date window at the bottom of the dial acts as the pandas mouth. The two sub-dials are also known as chronographs, or for a simpler term a timer. The two dials combined make for a measuring capacity of 30 minutes and an accuracy up to a second, great for a quick run in the park. Another sporty feature can be seen around the edge of the dial on the chapter ring, which is known as a tachymeter. This features allows you to measure speed which again is helpful for you sporting enthusiasts. Both these features can be accessed using the buttons on the side of the case.
